Enlightenment for the leaders!

Verse 1.14.41 (Krishna Patro Prji):

* Yudhistira Maharaj was full of anxiety as Arjuna had not returned for such a long time.
* At this time, he could see all the inauspicious signs of kali. And he was remembering Naradamuni's statement about the Lord's departure.
* As soon as Arjuna returned, MY was anxious because he could not think about the Lord leaving them.
* He did not directly ask whether the Lord left this world, but was indirectly finding if everyone surrounding the Lord were fine, cause that is the nature of a devotee.
* Pain of separation from the Lord is very painful. So here, Arjuna and Yudhistira Maharaj, were feeling deep separation from the Lord.
* He was trying to give reasons as to why Arjuna was in tears. And this verse is one such reason - You are always the protector of the deserving living beings, such as brahmanas, children, cows, women and the diseased. Could you not give them protection when they approached you for shelter?
* Leaders should understand that the protection of these living entities is a must.
* In previous times, the kings were ready to give up their lives to protect these citizens. But as kali progressed, now we can see how leaders are trying to protect their own lives, at the cost of the lives of the citizens.
* Even though it is small statement, it is an enlightenment for the leaders of the state as to what they should be doing.
* One cannot change the affects of Kali, this SB although gives the method to overcome it, that is Devotional Service.

Verse 1.14.39 (Ramana Prji):

* Real surrender
* Perfection of real renunciation is surrender.
* Leads us to sarnagati. 6 ways
- humility
- dedicate oneself,
- faith that Krishna will protect me
- doing those things which are favorable
- ...
- ...
* In our parampara, it is all so much suffering to all our acharya's, similar situations as the

Pandavas, and all placed immense faith in Krishna
- they did it cause not just they are pure devotees, they actually defined a pure devotee
* So we have to take shelter of such pure devotees
* We are struggling to understand dharma, how can we then understand KRishna by our own.
* So the best way is cry out for the holy name, chanting should be with increasing surrender
* 6 qualities that we can meditate to improve chanting,
- controlling the mind (by looking at the names)
- cleanliness, external and internal
- silence, only to talk about Krishna and nothing else
- meditate on the meanings of the holy name, means set the mood, the night mood before u go to mood
- patience, should not be in the mood of get it done.
- steadfastness or persistence, continue serving the holy names with faith
* Seek the shelter or ashray of the Panchatattva, before chanting.
