Verse 1.9.14 (YK Pr):
* Maharaj Yudhistira is lamenting that so many ppl died because of him. But here, Bhismadeva is consoling him saying that we are all toys and doll in the hands of time.
* Karma and Kala take control of everything.
* But Maharaj Yudhistira is under yoga maya, he is not suffering internally since he is carrying Krishna within his heart, but for us all he seems to be suffering from outside.
* Krishna gives His devotees internal strength to go through any situation that He puts them in. Eg: Mother Yasoda, Nanda Maharaj, Prahalad Maharaj, Srila Prabhupada.
* Srila Prabhupada's example: started this Hare Krishna movement at such a late stage in his life. So many failures, but finally Krishna made it all possible. And SP is the binding force behind this whole ISKCON family.
* But in case of non-devotees, time plays an imp role. All relationships are temporary.
* Whatever happens in your life is good, that is Krishna's arrangement. Krishna guarantees the spirit soul, not for the body. But if Krishna wants, He can protect the body too.
* We should remember therefore: ashlishya wa padaratham pinashtu maam....naparaha. Shloka of Radharani and of Lord CM.
* For devotees, Krishna either increases or decreases karma just to make us learn what is required. That is all Krishna's mercy, we will not question Krishna. There is only one person in the world who can change your destiny, that is Krishna. And how do we attain Him, just by chanting His holy name.
